Weight Trends - August 31, 2008

For August, I continued to focus on maintaining a stable weight. I did better this month than I did last month.

My weekly weight gain was 0.07 pounds and I ate 33 calories more per day than I should have.

Weight Trends - July 31, 2008

I’ve been trying to get back to losing weight but it hasn’t been working out too well. I do best when I can ignore food and pretend it doesn’t exist. Right now, Christine needs to eat more calories to support both her and the baby. Every time I see her snacking or taking seconds it’s harder for me to resist doing the same. So, I’m focusing on maintaining my weight.

And, yes, I did just throw my wife under the bus because of my lack of willpower.

My weekly weight gain was 0.29 pounds and I ate 147 calories more per day than I should have.

Weight Trends - June 30, 2008

After losing 24 pounds between September and December of 2007, I stopped keeping track of what I was eating and how much I weighed. The result was predictable: after plateauing for a while I started to gain weight again. Now I’m back to tracking calories and losing weight again.
